As a Zurich Professional liability insured, you’re entitled to an easy, streamlined method that can help save time in the claims reporting process. Staffed by qualified and experienced Claim Service Professionals, Zurich’s service center is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Details

When facing a potential or actual claim, contact Zurich’s 24 Hour Claim Reporting Service.
Upon receipt of your information, a qualified Claim Service Professional will:

1. Obtain details on your firm’s policy with Zurich.
2. Evoke key information from you regarding the possible claim or incident.
3. Complete the “first notice of claim” for electronic transfer to our Lawyers Professional Liability Claims Department.
4. Provide you with a confirmation number and claim number.

Your notice of claim or potential claim is electronically transferred to our Lawyers Professional Liability Claims Department within twenty-four (24) hours. A member of the Zurich Lawyers Professional Liability Claims Team will then contact you within one business day.

Via the Service Center, call (800) 987-3373 The Claims Service Professional answering your call will obtain all necessary information and assign a claim number. Your telephone notice of claim (or potential claim) will be electronically transferred to Zurich’s Professional Liability Claim department within 24 hours. A member of Zurich’s Claims Team will contact you within one business day to discuss the next steps

Fax

Fax a cover letter and all applicable documents to (866) 255-2962 to the attention of “Professional Liability Claim Director.” Your claim will be imaged and forwarded electronically to Zurich Professional Liability Claims. There it will be assigned to Claim Counsel, who will provide confirmation of receipt within 24 hours. A member of Zurich’s Claims Team will contact you within one business day to discuss the next steps.
